Transfer to a bank account

Transfer overseas in minutes
WITH MONEYGRAM

A Funds Transfer or Telegraphic Transfer (TT) allows you to electronically send funds directly into your beneficiaries account in a specified currency.
TT’s are processed quickly, cost-effectively and securely.
To send a TT, you will need to contact your closest branch who will facilitate the payment for you.
You will be required to provide the following information in order to process with us:
- Your street address
- Beneficiaries name and street address
- Beneficiaries bank account details
An international payment can be received via a telegraphic transfer, enabling foreign currency (in up to 25 currencies) to be converted into Australian dollars (AUD)on arrival and then transferred into your bank account.
To set up and receive an international payment into your Dnister bank account, please follow these steps:
Step 1 – Accessing currency details
Access the currency account details you will need by entering the country you are receiving funds from and your details via the American Express Inward TT Transfer Portal
Step 2 – Submit
Simply click ‘Submit’ and a PDF button will automatically appear on the next screen with payment instructions for you to provide to your overseas sender.
Step 3 – Send payment instructions
Send or email the PDF file with the payment instructions to the person sending the funds so they can complete a payment for a deposit of the funds into your Bank account.
Step 4 – Complete ‘Further Credit’ information
Make sure the sender completes the ‘Further Credit’ information including: Members Name, Account No & Dnister.
Please note: The exchange rate applied is the rate available to AMEX on the date and time AMEX receives the funds from the overseas financial institution. This rate cannot be set in advance and will be disclosed to you after the exchange has occurred.

Step 1 – Estimate the cost to transfer money

Step 2 – Visit a Dnister branch
Bring one or more forms of government issued identification, such as:
- Passport
- Driver’s license
- National identity card
- Government issued ID
Step 3 – Complete a simple money transfer form
You’ll receive a receipt and reference number for the transaction. Save both for your records and share with the person receiving the money transfer.
Step 4 – Contact the person receiving the money transfer
Let the person to whom you are sending money know the transfer has been sent and provide the Reference Number.

Step 1 – Request the reference number
The person sending you money will receive a reference number when the transaction is completed. Ask for the reference number to make it easier and faster to pick up your money.
Step 2 -Visit your nearest MoneyGram location
Take your reference number and one or more forms government issued identification to pick up your money**. Forms of ID include:
- Passport
- Driver’s license
- National identity card
- Government issued ID
Step 3 – Complete the ‘receive’ form
A receive form is available at your agent location. The form is required to pick up transferred money.
Complete all fields and:
- Include the reference number
- Show your identification
- Once verified, you’ll receive your money (usually your local currency).
